| Career Services | Career Services (CS) provides valuable assistance to students and alumni. Among the services, CS provides assistance in developing job search skills and strategies, provides employment services, functions as a regional testing center offering undergraduate/graduate, technical, professional and certification examinations. CS also provides workshops on such topics as exploring careers, writing resumes, developing interview skills, conducting a job search, and applying to graduate school. Career Services hosts a Campus-Wide Career Fair during each fall and spring semester. A Teacher Career Fair is held each spring. The staff of Career Services (CS) invites businesses, industries, government agencies, educational institutions, and health and human services agencies to recruit new employees and interns through campus interviews, Saluki Recruiting and career fairs at SIUC. |

Work Opportunities | The Financial Aid Office posts a number of different student work opportunities. Potential as well as currently enrolled students can review a wide variety of job descriptions to find a job that may meet their needs. |
| Graduate Assistantships | A list of administrative
graduate assistantships available at SIUC is provided courtesy
of the Graduate School.
Potential as well as currently enrolled graduate students are encourged
to contact the office or department offering the assistantship to
determine if a vacancy exists, and if so to arrange application for
any of the listed assistantships.
Teaching assistantships are also available. Interested students should apply through their own academic department. |
